This edition of Caribbean Premier League has given opportunities to new talents to make their presence felt and brought other players in the spotlight. These players, thanks to their raw talents and extraordinary performances, are likely to make it to the IPL 2019.

#1 Glenn Phillips

Glenn Phillips is a wicket-keeper opening batsman from New Zealand who played for Jamaica Tallawahs. Phillips performed well throughout the tournament and made his presence felt in a team of T20 stalwarts like Andre Russel, Rovman Powell, Ross Taylor, and David Miller.

With 457 runs in 11 Matches, Phillips is among the top run-getters in the CPL 2018, also scoring a hundred and 2 fifties in the tournament. The Kiwi is a perfect T20 opener who knows how to pace his innings according to the situation of the match.

He has the balance of both technique and muscle power and also scored the most number of sixes in the tournament - 29.

#2 Fabian Allen

Fabian Allen is a spin bowling all-rounder who played for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the CPL 2018. He got very late opportunity in the tournament but was impressive in his limited outings.

In three innings, he scored 119 runs with a strike rate of 188. He played a wonderful knock of 64 not out against Tridents to win a crucial match for his side. He was also able to pick up two wickets with his slow left-arm orthodox.

#3 Shimron Hetmyer

He is fearless and has a solid technique which allowed him to score freely, and scored a wonderful hundred in just 49 balls against Jamaica Tallawahs. He hit 24 sixes in the tournament.

#4 Ali Khan

The only bowler in the list, Muhammad Ahsan Ali Khan, is a Pakistan-born American cricketer. He bowls right-arm fast medium and has been a stand out bowler in the CPL.

Khan played a pivotal role in the TKR journey in the CPL. He was so consistent that TKR played only one specialist fast bowler in the tournament. He took 16 wickets in 12 matches with an economy rate of 7.8 runs per over.

#5 Sherfane Rutherford

In a match against TKR, Rutherford played scored 45 runs off just 13 balls against the most experienced bowling attack of CPL, hitting 6 sixes and a four in that innings.
